Fridge is now getting cold so just me being impatient. Yes, The pump stays attached in a compartment. I'm planning on wrapping it in a nice clean bag/bin liner when it's not being used to keep it clean rather than outdoors in the motorway fumes. I did consider switching it for a newer design but decided to keep the costs down for the time being.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it, that's my principle. However, mine was badly broken and I couldn't find an identical replacement so I made my own using new parts.
Bought some gas today and have nice hot running water! Switched to Propane so needed a new regulator and replaced the pipe as well as it was 11 years old.
Stove works as well. I'm not going to bother with the fire until I get it looked at properly.
The fridge has only got cool but better than nothing I guess! We've got some decent electric cool boxes in our camping equipment.

The fridge works best when it is full, did you only try it empty? I think you will be pleasantly surprised if you try it as you would normally use it. Ours is great in normal use, but doesn't seem that good once it is empty.
Get your heater checked out professionally. We did, but rarely use it. We are normally on EHU on sites, so we just use a small electric convector heater.
