You can buy brush on and spray on waterproofing agents.
Not seen a business offer the service though, if it needs waterproofing then there maybe other issues that a business wont want to take responsibility for.
I bought 5 litres of fabsil then bought a hand garden sprayer.I hung the awning over the clothes line and sprayed the Fabsil on till the material was wet,doing a bit at a time.You need a warm or dry day to do this so the Fabsil evaporates.Be careful of the fumes and dont smoke near it.

Try Triopair in pontefract they can arrange courier collection & delivery service although I have not used them personally they have very good customer feedback, I'm going to use them to alter my awning size
