Last year i was badly let down with storage for my new (to me) caravan.. I had to let that caravan go & have spent this year looking at other options.
But 1 option might be to keep one at home if small enough.
Does anyone know what is the smallest 2 berth caravan with loo( a must) ??

Thanks in advance

Hi
What size area have you got at home to store a caravan.
Min Width to fit van without access is around 8', van being 7'6" (unless it's 8' wide )
Length ???

Then go from there.
And start looking for a van.

Cheers

Look at Freedom caravans, Rapido, Trigano & also Eriba Familia. Some models of all of those have cassette toilets.

Thanks all

Ray the space we have is 15ft long width no problem. It is a tricky space to get a caravan into hence looking for small caravan.

The shortest caravan that Coachman make is the Amara 380 (2 berth) and the shipping length on that is 18.5 feet long which is excessive to your requirements so I think you may be looking at caravans in the category mentioned by Opensauce.

Freedom Microlite is 13ft overall. Freedom Sunseeker or Jetstream is 14ft overall length. The modern ones have cassette toilets.

We have to park our van behind the garden shed, on the patio. Have you thought of a motor mover if it is a tricky space to get into, we have one fitted as our road is so narrow you can`t use the car to get the van on or off our drive.

Beat me to it Wibsey...

Regardless of size, a MM is a must these days I think for exactly that - getting the van right where you want it, not just on sites, but at home....

A mover will help get a van into a tight space.

Make sure you look at any small van you are going to buy because some can feel very claustrophobic especially when they have a toilet compartment eating into the space.

We had a Freedom Sunseeker 4 berth which felt fine but recently looked at a Freedom Twinsport with toilet etc and it was far too claustrophobic yet the same body shell.

The new vans pack a lot of kit in and this gobbles up most of the storage space.
