Hi, we've just been given a Mardon classique caravan and are trying to find out where the water tank is for it. Also where we can get some parts for it too. Any help is appreciate d as we are completely novice at caravanning.
Water tank might be external with plug in pump on outside. Does pipe from tap go to a fitting on side of caravan? Or it could have had submersible pump in internatal tank under sink. Old caravans can have had all sorts of modifications done over the yrs so no definitive answer.
As for parts. Nothing specific, you will have to make do & mend. Chassis parts will probably be still obtainable. First establish make of chassis. Could be Alko or BPW. Check for makers names on chassis parts. An old caravan is always an ongoing project.
We had a Mardon as our second caravan (back in 1987) and they were always cracking caravans. Well made, well designed and lovely to tow. Would be good to see the OP`s when it`s out and about.
