Hi, the cupboards doors in my old 94 caravan are not to my taste. They are too dark,like an orangeye type colour. I'm OK with the lighter background colour within the caravan. Other than painting these, which I'm led to believe is mdf, is there anything that would lighten them up a bit or would a lighter wood stain work, I really don't fancy a whole lot of work with them though. Thanks.
Fablon is ok for simple flat surfaces, but doesn't wrap well round corners.
If the doors are not with intricate mouldings, rub down, them prime and paint using a small decorating close cell foam roller. Leave flat to dry in an undisturbed room to avoid any runs and dust settlement. This will give you a much better finish than brush painting. Be sure to try just one first in case of possible paint reaction
