Hi does anyone know the correct tyre pressure for a 2004 swift challenger se 500 ready to fit motor mover but need the correct pressure before. Thanks in advance guys 👍👍
look at the max pressure and max weight marked on the side of the tyre.. relate this to the actual weight of the van.. if for example the max pressure on the tyre is is 60 psi and the max weight is 1500 kg and the fully loaded van weighs 1000 kg the tyre pressure would be 40 psi..
this would be rated at 90 mph so at 60 mph van speeds you could go a little less with the pressure if desired..
just a way of working things out if you dont have a manual..
tyre pressures are not "exact".. as long as none of the maximums are exceeded they can vary a bit.. a little harder than need be and suspension will be harder and rolling resistance less.. i keep mine as soft as i can to avoid (minimize) road shocks to the flimsy caravan structure..
