Hello all, we are in the process of purchasing an 1989/1990 avondale olympus caravan. its a used one and has no handbook etc but thats fine.
we are looking for an awning for the van.......

all websites i look at say 855 or 859 so il except these as 5 cm is neither here nor there.

My question is .....which group size is best to go for would it be 850-875? or is there something im missing as ive read its best to go slightly bigger so it would be 850

838 to 863 or 840 to 865 or size 9 for another makers. bit puzzled so any help would be appreciated.

thank you in advance

Gary debs and jessica

If you are looking for a dorema type awning then they are a bit more flexible and I would go for the 840 - 865 range.

I would say that 10 cm either end is neither here nor there, peg the part out nearest the caravan just that little bit further to keep it taught and then inside the awning pull the internal bit tight and peg that down, it will be okay

We have found that because we pitch our van on ramps, erecting our awning without sags and bags is far easier
