Collected our caravan and had our first 'night away' on Friday. Only 12 miles from home to try it out haha. Anyway, I don't do UK holidays. Or , I didn't!! We're going to Wales for Easter, Stratford in April. And booked to do Gretna to Edinburgh to Morcambe in August. Plus whatever we do in the meantime!! Absolutely cannot wait!! Who knew!? Sorry, had to share!

And distance is not a problem, we normaly only travel within 30 miles for weekends, and 100 plus for longer breaks.

OMG - you sound like me a month ago when we picked up our First CARAVAN too!! We went out the very next weekend and are out on Wed for six nights with the three kids....We loveeee it - we have tented for over thirty years - needs must, age, etc etc up grade to a caravan was a Fantastic decision....

Enjoy your new van, distance is not an issue it's about being away from everything. We often use a site that is only 3 miles from where our van is stored, the first time we went there the grandchildren couldn't believe we had only just driven down the road.
