Hi, our present wheel security clamp has finally rusted too much [18years]
Can you suggest a replacement it must be very easy to fit as my husband is disabled with limited hand control
and I will be the one putting it on, not weight too much and be easy to store when travelling
I have looked on line but they confuse me and I want honest opinions one which will be secure
It depends on whether the wheels are steel rimmed or alloy as the some clamps are different such as the SAS clamp but the Milenco Compact Wheel Clamp is the easiest clamp to fit I have found and can be used on both steel and alloy wheels. I use one and can highly recommend it.
If you have alloy wheels I wouldn't recommend the full stop nemesis ultra. Really easy to fit, not too heavy, extremely difficult for thieves and easy to store.
I have the Milenco compact,it's easy to fit comes with extension tube so fits steel and alloy,just bought a purpleline excalibur clamp,as my insurance doesn't cover the Milenco one,where are you based,you can have it for nowt if you can collect,includes two keys and the bag

I know that a thief will be able to remove any device given time but having them helps with insurance etc
