Hi all,
Would like your opinion on the best route for getting down to Weymouth from the Midlands area, I was looking at the M40/M3/M27 but then there is the M5 of st Junction 25 and then through to Yeovil etc
Spoilt for choice,but didn't know if when you get onto the A roads if one is more hilly or has straighter roads

M5 route is easier

I'm not far from you, the route I use is A5, A43, A34 M3 A27. the only problem point is where the A34/M3 junction. Saying that we have only been held up once or twice in about 5 years.

If using the M5 route, A358 then left A303,then right A3088, onto A37 avoiding going through Yeovil. That`s the route we have been taking for the last 9 years travelling from Durham
