Travelling up A9/A95 from Glasgow to Findochty nr Buckie with caravan Can't get an overnight pitch ( Fri night in July and sites 1/2 way up all min 2 night booking, even the cls) so plan to do in one. Any hints or suggestions on stop off points for loos/food etc suitable to park up vans.Services at Perth but want to get further up.Cheers
House of Bruar is just off the A9. It's maybe half an hour beyond Perth with plenty of parking. It does get very busy and can be pricey. The surroundings are pleasant and the food is good. If you go as far as Inverness there's a massive Tescos with a pretty big carpark if you take the exit for the hospital.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
