Anyone know the best way to clean the folding partition door in my caravan ?
It closes the bedroom off from the rest of the van, not even sure what it's made of, it's a white, stiff fabric for want of a better description, it opens out to 8' wide & concertinas up to close and takes up about 2" when completely folded.
I didn't want to get it wet in case that was bad for the material or it made it lose it form 'rigidity' so I'm lost what to do, I've opened it out, I've brushed it down but it's still not really any cleaner...HELP !

Hi,
Always wary to recommend cleaning products but I can tell you if it the same material as our partition we have used a Vanish foam and left if for a while and then gently wiped it with a damp cloth and it has worked well.
As recommended by the cleaning companies try a small area first.
All I can say, it worked for us.
My friend has used a steam cleaner but it did seem to affect the fabric, although it did get it clean but it seems a bit more flimsy now.
Good luck.
Regards,
Greg
