Not as good as a few blocks of timber. Far cheaper, and no chance whatsoever of having them nicked!

My bulldog version was actually cheaper than buying some timber blocks

A lucky find at the recycling centre shop.

On soft ground you need to be careful because it may sink slightly. Although a small block of wood will sink about the same.

A couple of years back we were on a site and a guy had difficulty removing his. i would have just lowered it and then towed the van off it.
