Hi everyone

We have just purchased our first caravan, it's a bailey ranger 460/2 2007 and no am after a bit of advice from people in the know please.

We are after a small awning for just short weekends away, and have seen the Kampa rapid 260 ,that ticks all the boxes for us as a weekend quick put up awning.

Anyway my question is will it fit my ranger 460/2 unfortunately I cannot go out and check the height as I don't pick the van up for 2 weeks

If anyone can advise me please that would be massively appreciated

Thank you
Dave

We used to have a Ranger 460/4 which we used with a Kampa Rally Pro 260. The height won't be a problem at all. We found the 260 was just right for our caravan as the awning fitted without covering any windows but as your door and window layout is different to ours it might be worth checking that the awning won't obscure any windows or hatches that you need to access.

As long as you have at least 260cm of straight awning rail you'll be ok. As a weekend awning the Rapid 260 looks great and for £120 you can't really go wrong. We have a Rapid Air for weekend use, it's quick to put up to give us a bit of extra space but for long trips we now have a Rally Pro 390 which houses all our junk and gives us a dining area as well.

Enjoy your new van.

Just used the Kampa Rally 390 brought from ebay for the first time this weekend. Easy to put up, the 260 will probably be the same.

The height and space was great. Going to buy the storm straps just in case

Thanks for the great info guys, really appreciate it . the 390 looks good, and i only upgraded my tent end of last year to a kampa hayling air 6 ( only used once) and really like kampa stuff

I will have to wait to have a measure up as not too sure how much straight awning rail i have because i havent actually got the van yet so cant check

Thanks again

The 390 goes the full length of my swift challenger 450, which surprised me, the 15/20cm flaps/shelters at either end just go round the corners.

Worth measuring in hindsight

Great stuff thank you.

Am leaning towards the 390 if it fits. Will just have to wait til i get it to measure to make sure 100%;it fits

Thanks again
Dave
