I hope someone can help me
having a problem with the water pump on a 2008 bailey senator s6

when i connect the whale connector into the aqua roll and and set to (run from aqua roll > taps) it doesn't work, although i can hear the pump running

but

if I switch to (fill on board tank from aqua roll) it fills the tanks okay
then i can run the taps from the on board tank

if the water comes into the onboard tank you would think the pump is okay and the taps will work

Also noticed if i disconnect the whale connector fro the outside of the van I get a slow trickle of water that has never happened before

Any ideas what could be faulty??

Hi
On the outlet side of the pump piping, you will find a brass / copper connector (i think) inside that is wire mesh.
Clean that and you should be fine.
Had that problema a few years ago on our indiana s6.
And that sorted the problem out.

Hi Ray
Thanks for your reply I will have a look at that,

But I can pump water into the onboard tank okay, does the water go through the brass connector when filling?

not sure. dont think it did.
Its the right hand blue vavle that you need to strip.
you turn the valve in a diffrent direction for on board tank and direct water. been a while since i have done it and can't remember of top of my head.
I stripped pump down and it still did same, and not knowing anything differant bought a new pump.
And no improvement.
So stripped it down and found the mesh. Costly mistake, but on the bright side have a spare pump lol, and still fits the barcelona as well.

would you know if it has a nonreturn valve in the system
this may explain the trickle?

Hi back again
Been away in the van and still having problems even after stripping and cleaning the motor
I connected the aquaroll as normal and set to aquaroll to taps but no water appeared
The I set to fill onboard tank from aquaroll and still didn't work, so I pulled the pipe out of the onboard tank filler pipe and sucked on it until the water came through then it will fill tank , if I then switch to van taps it works fine

but if I leave it a few hours it fails again until I suck out the air again

I can see no leaks inside van but if I remove the aquaroll pump whale it drips water which I am sure this didn't happen before

So I'm guessing there is s nonnreturn valve somewhere that is leaking?????

Any ideas
