Final Update but need advise: guys I’ve recieved full market payout today and I’m scheduled to pick new Caravan up in a weeks time.

I have a issue however - I can’t get new Insurance for caravan as everyone is declining me. Question - would I be able to put Insurance in my partners name, I could still be registered keeper (CRiS Registration) but keep the actual Insurance in her name

Any thoughts guys ?

I would worry that it might give a reason for a claim to be refused. It might be safer to register it in your partners name. Insurance companies can use any failure to disclose relevant information as a reason not to pay a full claim.
I'm surprised that the company you were insured with are refusing you further cover.

We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

Yes as long as you declare that you are the owner. Most insurance companies class married or cohabiting couples as having joint interest so it doesn't matter who its registered to but check direct with the insurer.
