We have a nespresso Inissia, it is the smallest and cheapest machine in their range so goodd for storage and the wallet. Basically have it as I can't stand instant coffee, don't like coffee from French presses, and don't want to deal with coffee grinds in the van. Love it.
We have a Dolce Gusto coffee maker in our caravan that makes about 3 cups. Not much weight to it and compact enough that it sits nicely in the cocktail cupboard. Always have one about 11am each day.

Wondering if it's worth getting one.
I don't have a coffee machine, or a caravan, but I do have and use this dripper, which has worked fabulously for me for many years.
It differs from a normal dripper in that instead of placing the dripper on top of the mug or cup and then pouring, you pour hot water onto the ground coffee in the dripper while it is sat on the counter next to the cup.
Due to a clever little valve, the dripper holds the coffee for as long as you like, allowing it time to brew and for the flavor to develop.
It is only when you place the dripper on the cup that the valve opens and the coffee flows out into the cup. Also, because the flow stops if you lift the dripper off the cup, you can fill two small cups without mess.
Simple, effective, foolproof, portable. All you need are filter papers. And coffee, of course.
Funnily enough we bought a Bosch Tassimo last time we were away in the van, as Tesco had a very good price - they had a shelf full - next day just 2 left. Its very compact unlike some, so ideal in the van
I have a cheap tesco filter machine I take with us for the tent. Works great, turns itself off after 40 mins and is far more environmentally friendly than the pod machines
We always took an espresso machine on holiday - we drink good coffee at home so why should we drink instant c**p on holiday?
It had to be kept in the porch awning (exterior socket comes in handy) because of lack of work surface in the caravan. However, it was a cheapo machine from Lidl, which eventually died and we now use a Gaggia stove-top espresso maker. It makes decent coffee but doesn't froth milk, so I drink black anyway and my wife uses the UHT cream you buy in cartons in France and finds it good for coffee. I don't rate the coffee pod machines - it's just an improved version of instant.
We've got a filter machine which we prefer.cheaper than pods and huge choice of coffee. .we like Taylor's lazy Sunday, it's £3-50 but can normally get for £3, 3 cups a day and lasts a week.
We always take our Tassimo when on EHU yep. Light easy, no mess, nice coffee.
I also have an AeroPress that I sometimes use for a stronger more tailored coffee. Great piece of kit but uses a fair bit of coffee and a bit more messy to clean up but not too bad. Makes a lovely cup of beans after a bit of practice
