Have a look on the auction sites to find a model that you like, then check the reviews and specifications for that model.

Measure what will fit your caravan without an edge going down the middle of a window.

As alan29 says measure.. As you already have a porch awning, I'm guessing you have done. You will also need to take into consideration any other 'parts' which may be on the awning side of the van, main door (fully open), external light, toilet door, battery box, outdoor electrical & bbq points to name a few.

We find an 1100cm full awning is too large for us for regular weekend jaunts, so we went for the Isabella Magnum. At 3m wide it is quite roomy for a porch awning allowing eating outdoors, it's easy to erect on your own, if that's an issue, suitable for weekends and holidays, and most importantly for us is that it dodges all the bits it needs too. There are also 3 removable panels allowing you to use it as a sun canopy, this also makes it lighter & easier to erect/dismantle.

The problem is that very few awnings are available that will fit an awning rail 215cm high, they usually fit heights of 230-250cm. I think you have may have to adapt a driveaway awning from a camper van as that should fit the lower rail.

When we had an Avondale the only awning we found to fit properly was a Sunncamp but they discontinued the lower height models around 2005 so I doubt if you'll find one of the early models anywhere.

Rob
