Sadly I don't think I have. I thought I'd explained it with the TVs power saving mode... Again then. The 35w stated on the back of the TV is the maximum power used by the TV, say when the screen is turned up to full brightness and the volume is on full.
The 1.6amps measured by my clamp meter is the actual current being used by the TV and inverter with power saving mode activated which at 12v equates to 19.2w. So I don't think it's doing bad at that.
So in answer to your question the other 15.8w doesn't exist, I can't give up my day job yet lol.
The inverter on standby uses less than a quarter of an amp.

Q3. Don't know, and who cares. The inverter can't be using that much as the total power used is only 19.2w! In my case the power used by the inverter is inconsequential.
As I said earlier, the inverter uses about a quarter of an amp on standby which is 3w at 12v so maybe it uses 3w out of the 19.2w
Which is about 15%.
