I have some similar ones in the back of the car which I have measured at roughly 73cm long. I've never used them myself despite carrying them around for many years just in case they are needed. They are useful when parking on soft ground as they help to stop the tyres sinking which leads to traction problems.
Used to carry a couple of offcut carpet strips in the boot - never needed to use them and disposed of them rather than carry them round. Milenco ones are 74.5cm long by 25cm wide, Kampa also have wheel mats for similar dimensions and price.
