Bucket of water, a drop of Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler caravan cleaner shampoo followed by their special rinse protector fluid, and one of those soft long handled brushes made for washing cars and caravans.
You will also need a good supply of soft clean cloths for wiping down the windows after washing, and a pair of sturdy steps to reach upon the roof.
There is also the option of using a professional cleaning service if you don't feel like doing the job yourself.

The covers are a bit contrivercial amongst caravanners, there are plenty of old threads if you do a search on here regarding the pros and cons of using one.
Well worth a read before you go out and buy one.

I have a mobile engineer who washes the van as a part of the annual service. That makes sure the roof is done once a year. Any bits that need doing during the year - I use supermarket own-brand car wash (max £2.50 a bottle.)
Brings it up a treat, and plays into my wish to never, ever use branded goods when there is an alternative.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
