The kitchen storage in our Swift Blakemere 2008 (Charisma) is excellent but only at the expense of a larger bathroom. We opted for the fixed bed on the right with a small combined toilet/shower in the corner, rather than the large bathroom across the van. This gives us more space at the centre of the van where there is a long worktop area opposite the kitchen. This has 2 cupboards below it and the microwave and cupboard above it. I guess any caravan layout is a compromise somewhere but we decided that more space and cupboards in the middle of the van was more important than a roomy bathroom.
We had an opal but the limited worktop space and kitchen storage eventually led to sale and change to end kitchen small Lunar. It lives in France and we leave a bed more or less permanently up and live in the Fiamma awning with sides and occasionally a front up.
Much easier to tow and no mover needed
