The remote I have looks like it is missing something from the top but a have nothing to compare to
Can anyone send me a picture of the top
Were I think there should be some sort of infrared bit
Which powrtouch remote do you have? I know of two types, the older type has a jack point plug hole at the front that could be used as a direct connection. The remote for this is white in colour, the more recent ones have a grey face with a white back with no jack point. If you ebay powrtouch remote you will see both types.
If you look on 'Youtube' and search for for 'Powrtouch mover', there are a few demonstrations using the remote handset which is probably the best solution to have a better look at the handset you need to look at.
