A month ago we bought a new (to us )caravan from a local dealer.it already has a Royal Apollo motor mover fitted.at our 1st French campsites it packed up. Rang RA who diagnosed a failed unit.We paid for a new one and it was to be sent here by courier arriving last Tuesday. To date no sign of unit and firm don't answer our phone calls.money has been taken from credit card though. Our overnight has now been more than a week and we need to move on. Any suggestions?

Oh Crikey Joanna................... Where did you get in touch with them and which number are you using? Have you tried emailing them? (Giving them the benefit of the doubt that their phone may be out of order!?!?) What did you pay for the new unit, and what arrangements were made for fitting it. We'd help if we could, and were in France, but we're still here for various complicated reasons.
I wouldn't know what to advise, except perhaps to leave your onward contact details with the campsite you're on, and hope that the mover part will arrive, and they get in touch with you - or send a big strong man around to Royal's premises to see exactly what is going on?
Contact your CC company and tell them to cancel the payment as you haven't received the goods? Won't get you a new mover but at least you won't be out of pocket.
They posted something on Twitter, Instagram & Facebook yesterday.
Are you trying to contact them through FPS their distribution arm?

------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

Thanks for the support. Yes we have emailed the address we have and not got any reply. It may not be the right email as the original company has apparently gone out of business and all stock is held by a company called Autofix. We are dealing with them. We paid £160 plus £27 for courier delivery. OH is happy to fit as has installed a mover in a previous caravan.
We have now decided that we will move on on Saturday whatever and leave our phone number here, making a booking to stop here on our way home at the end of the month. We will sort out the money when we get home.
We have no forward bookings so this is the best we can do. It will just be a case of making sure we stop on sites big enough to manoeuvre with the car. All very frustrating!

Not FPS see my post above. We used the contact details on the booklet which was in our pack so can only assume Autofix are legitimate. We don't do social media and are currently confined to 1 useable phone with 4G.

An update...our daughter managed to get hold of them. The package is with FedEx and all they can say is that reached their French depot. We shall see what happens. Thanks to all for helping boost my spirits.

French couriers are notoriously slow! So if it's reached them it will eventually reach you! Patience is what you'll need, but hopefully it will all be sorted out.

Sorry you are not in France Val. We had hoped to run across you in the south.
Hi Joanna - We were hoping to be there by the end of this week but circumstances have changed and it won't be before the end of next week, at least, now. How long are you down 'our way' for?

My point re social media was that someone was there yesterday as they posted!

We had a similar experience two years ago ... lost mover control unit in Portugal (I stupidly put in down on car roof ... then drove off ... going back over road and saw nothing!
We had a new mover sent from France ... supposed to take three days ... after seven days waiting, we gave up and moved on to next site ... arranging to phone daily to ascertain arrival ... then I'd drive back with the car to collect it ...
Needless to say ... it arrived the day after we left!
Still no luck despite a further unit supposedly being sent to our daughter's UK address. Does anyone have experience of a company called Autowfix of Derbyshire and know how to gee them up? OH's bad back has really suffered this holiday and so far we are nearly £200 out of pocket.
