We recently bought a Bailey Senator Carolina year 2006
I am a bit confused about the water. The control panel has a water pump switch. Should this be turned on all the time or is this only turned on to fill the on board water tank.
Or should the pump switch be turned off and the pump cut in and out when running the taps when this pump is off.
If this switch is turned off we get no water coming in the taps.
It seems a bit over the top to have to turn on and off this pump switch whenever I want to turn on the tap

Have a look at this video, it should become clear, there are a few levers to move whilst filling.

Thanks Dave.
Our switch is a small bit different in that it just has on. It has no fill and on position
But it points out we have a problem I think.
We have filled the on board water tank and switched the taps to the correct position but when we turn on the pump switch the pump continuously pumps eventhough no taps are on
Any ideas what might be wrong?

Hi

Muck in the pump filter.
On of the fittings either side as a metal strainer in, this gets clogged up. Easy to do.
Also the pump may need cleaning, the bottom half spilts from the top and is easy to clean.

Hope that helps.
