Has all the air been expelled out the pipes first?
The pressure may not be set up properly. You need to set the switch by the cold water tap only nearest the switch which is usually the kitchen sink. Run the cold water so the light illuminates then turn it clockwise till the light extinguishes then turn off the tap. Retest and when the tap is turned off the light should take about 6 seconds to go out. Once that is set then try the hot water but that will take slightly longer as the hot water tank has to be replenished with water.

The correct pressure switch reset is to open the cold so the pressure falls, turn it off again and immediately do exactly what you did, but plus another 1/2 turn anticlock. This gives a datum from which to turn +/- a fraction more

Also note that it is usually necessary to re do this procedure if you switch between 12v and 230v

If above suggestions don’t work, try removing the filter completely.

If that works, use the following procedure: open the bin, chuck the filter in it and don’t bother replacing it - ever.

Thanks all I phoned whale and they emailed me procedure as it stands so far so good I did notice that the pump wasn't fitting right the 2 prongs on the end were not straight so bent 1 so it sat straight with the other 1 and it stays perfect so touch wood no more problems.
