Restoring a 1970's Sprite 400. Does anyone out there have an electrical schematic for this camper? I am stumped and cannot seem to get system working. She has ac breaker box as well as an inverter. looks like originally had a seven prong harness.
A 1970's Sprite is very unlikley to have had an inverter as standard, as they were very rare in that era. I also don't understand what you mean by a "ac breaker box"?
Yes it would have been fitted with the standard 12N 7 pin plug (black) and socket and these would have just fed the external road lights. Internal battery and fridge charging was not included until the additional 12S (grey) plug was added.
Best bet is to fit new electrics. 230v & transformer charger & battery for 12v. Caravan will still be vintage but nothing wrong with upgrades to make it more user friendly.
