Quick question, is it worth joining either the c&mc or c&cc for cheaper insurance & breakdown cover.

Does their breakdown actually cover the caravan & car or just car but they will tow caravan in case car breaks down.

Does anybody have a rough price, I know all vehicle are different prices just after a guideline.

Are there many other benefits to make it worthwhile.

Would appreciate as much info as possible please.
Apologies for asking but I've never used any clubs before.

TIA

We were with the CMC Mayday however as our caravan is in storage, if we were to breakdown and get towed back to the storage, then we only have one option, car to residence or car to garage. We have three small dogs with us plus all the luggage in the car so it has to be the residence. This means that Mayday will not collect the car and take it to the garage within 10 miles and you will need to pay them. If you opt to have the car taken to the garage then you have to find your own way home with pets and luggage.
We joined the C& CC and are now with RAC Arrival who cover all the above eventualities plus will take the vehicle to a garage within 75 miles of your residence! We pay about £50 more for peace of mind cover so cheapest is not always best!
Your choice!
