One does wonder what is going on with these large twin axle German built caravans? There are plenty for sale on eBay all the time. There seems to be several large dealers who specialise in new & used caravans of this type but they do not appear to be anything like normal large caravan main dealers who sell UK built caravans.
If one looks at eBay sales from private sellers most of these caravan appear to be pictured in situations that do not suggest recreational use. They are not usually Cris reg as imported caravans rely on owner or importer to register them.
Possibly there is some sort of revolving door of skullduggery here where a caravan is sold to a punter for recreational use & straight away becomes a target for criminals who are tipped off perhaps?

Hobby were to start installing trackers and registering them with CRIS on all new models starting from 2019....
We were going to buy a Hobby motorhome, based the build quality of the caravans but having looked at a hobby motorhome and the poor build quality we walked away..Pity as the layouts were great .
The Hobby range of caravans - manufactured for the uk market are very impressive.
