We have a few breaks away in the caravan arranged and thinking we could still go and still self isolate if we are still well and fit. Obviously no coffee shop visits etc. Just healthy walks and relaxation.We do not need showers etc as we have everything in the caravan,
Are we being selfish or irresponsible if we still go?
The other scenario is that the campsites will shut.
Hopefully the campsites will stay open. They ought to be one of the safer environments, unless I'm missing something: open air, good separation, plenty to see and do away from other people.
Being over 50 myself I'm at higher risk of hospitalisation / mortality so would probably need to pack up sharpish if I became symptomatic - otherwise I could end up intubated in a local ITU and having to abandon my unit. This becomes more pressing for older campers, especially those who are >80.
Just make sure that you disinfect the communal water tap before use as it's a piece of equipment that every camper uses several times during the day which is worse than shaking hands. Even if you self isolate you can't escape the need to fetch water on a daily basis so you need to keep fresh water equipment chemically clean.
Had planned to go away after our van is serviced tomorrow. It will go back in store.
I checked with the dealer, they are working as normal, plus van is under warranty so needs sevice.
The dealer will obviously need the business! Govt guidelines only essential travel so will heed them.

Anyway it is just advice and the advice in Scotland may be different
We are away now for a week, on a CL, on our own and will continue to do the same, surely more healthy than staying at home on the outskirts of a town? will not go if we have symptoms of course.
Just on bbc wales stating that people with statics or touring caravans not to visit north wales to isolate.

I don’t think so myself, but it also stated that towing a caravan was unnecessary journey so could be stopped.
