Just had their newsletter. They are extending memberships for the length of time that the sites remain closed to ensure we all get a full years membership.

I think they are to applauded for this. I wasn’t expecting it. Well done them.

Yup just got mine also. Fair play to them don’t think they could do anything more and survive.

I agree it is a nice gesture and hopfully won't be for too long. I feel sorry for the small private sites who must have lost a lot over Easter.

We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

I always felt that the C&CC was more member-friendly, which was one of my main reasons for my choice when joining up. Probably not a lot in it though, as they are both thinly-disguised businesses really. I did think though that once one of them did it the other would follow, but maybe not.
