After 50+ years of caravanning we have retired - Freelander tug went prior to lockdown & 2 weeks ago Vanroyce 450ETL (the only I ever encountered) went after being overwhelmed with enquiries/
offers. Wonderfull memories, children, grand children & 7 golden retrievers. Suffering with severe withdrawal symptoms at the moment. Started with a Carcruiser in 1966 & enjoyed several 'quality'
used vans & can't stop looking at the market but with Janet (wife of 60 years adamant) no chance of resumption. Walk Heidi (GR) & dream. Carry on all & enjoy our wonderful pastime. Bye
I can empathise with you,😔after 35+ year’s of Caravanning we to have just sold our Pegasus verona. Our first Caravan was a sprite alpine with gas lights and glass windows towed with our trusty allegro 🤪We have some fantastic memories and have meet some wonderful friends that after twenty odd years are still in touch with and regularly meet. I have to confess it was sad watching the new owner pull out of the caravan storage, But we’re not done yet !! We’ve bought a tent 🏕 & are very excited to make some more memories, be them good or bad !!
