We received our renewal quote from above, gone down slightly but what I don’t understand is the £16 policy fee! There are no changes so not sure what fee is for . I’ve tried calling them but just get endless on hold music.

Has anyone else had this or could anyone enlighten me?

Officially its a separate charge that goes to them as the broker for sorting and servicing the setup. I.e if you buy through a broker there will be a policy fee tucked in there somewhere.

Call them, as many companies will waive or reduce this fee...that also can depend on how nice you are to them and where the person you speak with is on their daily figures. Well that's the way it used to work!
