Hello I am thinking of selling our caravan to upgrade to a different layout but prior to me getting the caravan it has had a leak on the rear door which has lead to some damage to the floor. It’s an elddis avante 556 2005. I just wondered what kind of price I should be looking at asking. Other than this damage the caravan is in good condition, I have owned it 5 years, just had a service, 2 tyres and the seating re padded at a caravan upholsterers.

Any advice would be appreciated

Any dealer is not going to be asking more than 6k for it on the forecourt. So working back, he may offer 4k for a 'good' model trade-in. If yours needs work, it may be down to a couple of grand. I would try 4.5k private, and see what you get offered.
