hi we have a 2010 coachman amara thst has a flourescent light under kitchen worktop its wired in as we have looked in cupboard above. We cant ser sny way of getting the light fitting off to change it.Has anyone had to do this or know how it comes off please the light has gone really dull as if its going thanks
cant see any screws at top of cuoboard but looks like thete couuld be some sort of white tape under light not sure what its thete for though and the plastic casinfg cant ser how it unclips
Do the white bits at both ends not maybe slide out / off to expose the screws. I changed ours and fitted a Led unit instead much better I also changed all the bulbs in our caravan to Led ones
If I remember correctly you can slide off one of the end caps. A few years since we had ours, but I think that is what I did. This agrees with what someone else has said. Also agree with the idea of replacing with led lamp. Even the little reading lamps, I replaced the bulbs with led type, more efficient on battery power and run a lot cooler
You have to first work out the Halogen bulb numbers and then you look for the Led equivalent there are plenty sites on ebay and Amazon just look for trusted reviews before you buy.
managed to get a fluresecnt tube from b and q but I would like a led one they wiring went into a box at back of the unit and we were not sure how to get it out . Does any pf you know how to wire one then i can talk hubby into getting one. But at least we got light now x
