I've just tried beating one of our commercial vehicle quotes - it was like pulling teeth. We've been with the present insurer maybe 20 years, so thought i'd see what else was out there. What was/is 'out there', is droney automatons reading from a script asking endless questions. When the lass started asking me the same tranche of questions for the second time, to avoid an argument, given she reckoned she hadn't already asked them once, i cut her off.
Instead, i contacted our present insurer and asked them to look at the quote again. They said they'd 'sort summat out for me'.
Not sure if the comparison sites can help with commercial vehicles, but if they can they are well worth trying. All done on line, and questions only get asked once.
