You should only have one handset, I expect you have a spare one for some reason. Have you tried them to see if they both work? One of them is probably faulty and the other is the replacement.

I've never come across two handsets for a twin axle. Have you got two control boxes in the caravan? What make and model is this mover? It sounds very strange so I think you'll need to practise in a big open space to see what does what.

Thanks Rob had a compass 540 before bought bailey cordoba last year but had it delivered and guy who brought van pitched it so i did not see him use park it when he left he gave the wheel locks and two remotes so it stuck in my head that it was a remote for either side as its pitched has not been used since so as you have pointed out makes sence now thank you very much nice one Richard.
