Hi everyone
We have bought a universal fitting front cover for our bailey pursuit. It is one were straps run through the awning rail from window height to the bottom of the rail. With the pursuit however there are front trims on either side obstructing access to the bottom of the awning rail. Am I missing a trick here, or do I have to buy a expensive bailey cover.

You should have openings in the awning channel a few inches up from the bottom on both sides of the van. Slide the cover in up the channel and then bring it back down, the trims stop the cover falling out the rail while you adjust the cover and straps.

I've had a look at a picture of a Pursuit and see the trims you mentioned, is it just not the case that as the awning rail does not go all the way to the bottom that a cover does not extend to the whole of the front end.

This might also be the case with the expensive ones but as the pictures on their websites are generic you would actually need to contact them and see if they have made allowances for the rails not going all the way down.

Thanks for the replies, I've contacted my nearest baileys dealer today even they don't stock the stupidly expensive ones. "They don't sell" he says, but they do sell a universal one for bailey vans but for my issue/problem it has to be cut to shape (instructions included). So, not really the answer i was hoping for but the Mrs is now on a mission to customise the one we've already got. Thanks again.
