Does anyone know of a device to assist in winding down the caravan legs?I have a problem that I cannot get down to wind the legs down whilst standing.A massive long shot,but,you never know without asking,thank you in advance.
I guess in simplest form you want something which will extend the winding nut outwards and turn it to face up so you can stand and fit a winding handle or electric drill winder to it without bending.
When booking in to a campsite could you ask if someone could be available to wind the legs down for you? Perhaps you are a very independent person and don’t like this idea but I feel sure there are many people who would help you if they only knew you could do with a little help.

I am not disabled but I do have back problems. I use a long special socket in a battery drill, which I also use to screw in the pegs of my awning. You don't need to get right down to use a drill like you do with a hand-winder, but you do need to be able to be able to bend to some extent and I don't know whether you can do that. If not, the only real option is as suggested by Navver above.
