We have previously stored at Le Clos Castel, at Raids, near Carentan (about an hour from Cherbourg and a bit longer from Ouistreham).

Have you checked you can get insurance if you store there? In my experience, Insurance underwriters recently seem to be less willing to cover storage in Europe, and if they do, have stricter security requirements for the storage sites.

Caravan Help Abroad (www.caravanhelpabroad.com) carry out caravan/motorhome servicing at various campsites with storage across France and ?Spain during the spring/summer/autumn months. They will either service them in storage or while you are on the site.
