Working fine at start for holidays ... then, suddenly ...
Light flashes on control unit for 30 secs then nothing.
Battery fine, Hand unit fine.
Done the reset button scenario.
Nothing ... new control unit?
Any thoughts?

When you say battery fine, have you actually took a reading with a voltmeter to see how much charge is in the battery?
However, if you phone 0161 509 5503 which is 'Emove Caravan Mover Support' they may be able to offer some advice regarding the problem.

You need to put a meter on the control box input terminals. Then with rollers off the tyres, inside caravan operate your remote and note the voltage of the input terminals. Although your leisure battery may read OK if the volts drop at the control box when drawing current, if it is dropping volts this is why light flashed then out.

Thanks, guys ... will try that when I get home .... no meter with me! Doh!
I have a battery charge indicator attached to the battery ... giving full led scale reading .... no problems with rest of lx in van.

I had on one caravan there was a voltage drop to the control box and battery was fully charged. I found the problem was the Red isolator switch not making good contact when switched on. Replaced the switch and then cured the problem

Thanks, birdman ... can't see anything wrong with it ... but, without a meter, I could be wrong.

I had problems and it was the battery in the remote that needed replaced.
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

There was a post ages ago about 4G signal affecting movers. Try changing the channel on the main control box.------------- Robert (BoB)

I've done the 're-set' procedure a couple of times ... to no effect.
Is the channel change different? If so, I don't know how to do it.
