Can anyone help. We have bought an Adria Optima 4 berth. On the outside above all the windows is a rail/groove. They are nothing to do with the actual window and it’s fitting and they are not air vents. What are they for? I’m guessing the front one could be for a towing cover but the others I’m at a loss. Could they possible be for some kind of window shades/awnings.
Where the front panel meets the front of the roof there has to be a split between the two sections where they meet during the manufacturing stage. This split then has to be covered with a cosmetic trim with sealant underneath to stop any rain water getting in and that is what the rail/groove is. All caravans happen to be the same because it's virtually impossible to mould a single section containing the roof plus the two ends in one whole section.
