New to caravan and just bought a elddis 2 berth. My partner and I are trying to figure out how to run the pump without being hooked to electricity. Any advice please

There must be a control panel somewhere that allows you to switch the pump on? Before doing that you must make sure the 12V is activated which is usually a separate switch.
You need a source of power to run the water pump which is operated by means of 12 volt power so you need a fully charged leisure battery connected up to start with. There will also be a switch with a red or green light that illuminates when the tap is turned on and activates the pump when the water pressure drops which is how the system works. However, I say a fully charged up leisure battery because the water pump when in operation will consume more power than any other 12 volt appliance fitted as standard so if it's only partly charged the pump will run continuously and eventually flatten the battery quite rapidly.
You may also need to adjust the pressure switch adjacent to where the water enters the van if running on 12v. Some will accept the voltage drop, and work fine, some wont.
Thank you for your reply. We can hear the clicking of the electricity when we turn on the tap but we can't hear the pump, and no water is coming out. Is the pump inside the tank? How do we remove it is the pump is bad? Many thanks

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
If it has the external pump it will push into a fitting on the outside of the van. Fill your water container and pop the pump in. This purges it of air. Then connect the pump, switch on 12v master and pump switches.
When you open a tap it may spit for a few seconds as air is expelled.
It's best to start at the taps furthest from the inlet.
If you have a water heater it can take a minute or three to fill. You need to open taps on hot and old settings to get rid of air.
Don't switch on an onboard water heater( if fitted)until its full or damage may occur.
The water system needs to be drained for winter to prevent frost damage.
If it has an onboa4d tank again it may just take time to purge air. Again if you have the water heater you need to let its tank fill.

Can not speak for your particular caravan, but if the water tank is beneath the caravan floor, then you will need to fill that tank first. On our old van we had to drop an external pump into a water container outside the van, plug the pump into external connections and then use a completely separate switch to turn on this pump to fill the on board tank. Once that was done, switch off the external pump and then turn on the taps to start water flow inside the van.
That is just a brief explanation of what we did. Bit like a motorhaome really with its internal tank. You have to fill it before you can get a water flow from the taps.
