We have elddis svante 2021 in storage the mattress feels damp no leaks or anything any suggestions to stop this thanks

Ours is also in storage and we make sure none of the vent holes are covered. You may be able to leave the bathroom window open a little?

Is it definitely damp and not just cold ? Just a thought, my boat cushions sometimes feel damp when they're not actually, just cold .

Press some toilet paper onto it. If its cold, nothing will happen, if its damp the paper will absorb it to some degree.

My van is stored remote from home and only gets checked every few months, whilst seat/bed cushions (no fixed bed mattress) feel 'cold' they are not actually damp. In storage I upend all the cushions so they rest on the minimal 'edge' surface area and air can freely circulate around them. There's no ventilation other than the fixed floor/roof vents. I don't leave anything like windows or skylights open at all. Never had a problem in the years I've had van by doing that.

Do you leave your mattress in situe with the (presumably typically lifting) bed base down? Probably best to lift mattress/base to maximise air circulation.

I pull all upholstery away from walls, open all doors and locker doors. Bed bases have slats to aid ventilation.
