Hi, i have a lunar delta 640 caravan with a Thetford cw200 cassette toilet.
Is it possible to get an adaptor so ut can be plumbed into the house drainage system?
I'm wondering if there's an adapter that clips into the into the place where the cassette sits
and how if there was something do you intend on getting it to fit the house drains? usually no access other than the manhole cover, which would be a big no no to leave the cover off
As far as I know, no.
Some Motorhomes (American models, from memory) have a sewage holding tank rather than a cassette, but it’s a different system as the usual removable cassette fits tightly flush under the toilet valve.
There have been queries on UKCS about how to drain the sewage tank at campsites, which may give more details about the system, but I can’t give you the link.
I’d also wonder about breaking into the sewage network outside the house, but that’s not your question.
A similar question arises from time to time, so you are not the first to ask!
I think it's safe to say NO, I've certainly never come across one, and I can think of a host of reasons why it's a non starter! Plumbing, the equipment and it's installation, is covered by regulations, and such a device would almost certainly never meet approval standards. Then there is demand, so few people would want such a system, there would be no commercial sense in manufacturing one!
A DIY system feeding an open manhole could probably be rigged, but you wouldn't be popular with the neighbours (or probably even your own household!), open sewer manholes are NOT pleasant, and the council and water companies would likely put a stop to it as soon as they found out!
Chemical toilets and domestic toilets work on entirely different principles of clearing the bowl, and you can't really just turn one into the other.
Appreciate your reply, had a funny feeling that there's not a toilet solution.....
The fridge.... It's frying my head, I'm getting 230v at the terminal block on top & nothing coming out, I've sent an email to a couple of electronics shops to see if they can repair the pcb (after describing my ****-up) as I'd rather try and fix it.
I've tried googling a replacement fridge but it's saying that there's none compatible which I find strange.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
If it is a Thetford fridge I replaced the control module located at back of fridge and a new circuit board for top front of fridge, end of last year for genuine Thetford new parts from Jackson’s leisure supplies off EBay for £145 including next day delivery. If you know the elements are OK this is the best way to go as you basically have a new fridge after doing this. Far cheaper than replacing whole fridge.
Would the last four posts not be better off in this topic.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Search seems to show part absolete most places since May 22. If you look on E bay for your model fridge board repair, first advert shows done for just under £50 allowing 30 day turnaround.
did you check for a 12v supply to the pcb, the pcb is controled by 12v to enable the fridge to run on gas whilst not on ehu. without 12v you wont get any joy from 240v
