I think you will find the panel goes underneath and fixed to floor so water runs down and underneath wetting the floor. Get some plastic angle and bond it on with sikaflex to the bottom of the panel,so that water runs down and angle stops it,so it drips off. When the angle has stuck run a bead of the sealant along the front of the angle with the body panel to ensure no gaps where water can still seep through.

There are quite a few posts regarding this common problem. It may help to use the 'search' function to bring them up.

As other posts have described, this isnt a 'leak'. Its a design fault at the floor. And one i dont believe is restricted to Bailey vans. I have a Bailey, and while my floor edge is as described, the floor isnt, and doesnt appear to get wet despite this. I dont know why, but i daren't interfere/'fix' it, in case i actually caused a problem.

Ours had damp issues, it was only 4 years old at the time.

Rear offside corner around the toilet area, caused by poor sealant around the toilet flush filler cap.

Front nearside corner, caused by poor sealant.

Middle of the front, caused by rain running down the A frame fairing and soaking into the floor.

Bit of damp on flooring by the habitation door, caused by poor sealant around the amber running light on the side of the van and soaking into floor.

I get that all caravans have good and bad but I was really unhappy with it, especially being only 4 years old, so part exchanged it for a Swift Challenger

Also had the common, roof strap leaking, again caused by poor sealant.
