No I haven’t my son advised me not to change it .
I thought maybe buy a new one with a CD player and with a screen that turns off .
The caravan is going in to be serviced I have asked them to look at it and let me know if it can be turned off .

You could always have a switch added externally like mine that turns off the supply to the radio. That would turn off everything except the radio's memory, which keeps the channel settings. It would be like turning the ignition switch off in a car.
