My plan is to keep my car and caravan for as long as possible. The car is 17 years old and the caravan 33, but if I look after them both they will probably see me out, or at least my driving days. A car I sold when it was 18 years old is still taxed and MOTd, so I presume it is still being used at 25 years old. If money were no object, I think I'd still keep my old car as there isn't a later one that I have seen that I like as much. I'm 76 in a few weeks time so how much longer will I go on for anyway? Nobody knows.

Not so. To buy our 5.8m 2 berth MH new, now, would cost double what it cost us 7 years ago, so we’re sticking with it. “Whacking great” MHs (which ours is not) now cost much more than £150k. No idea how many people live full time in these, as you could buy a house for that amount in my area, but a car park up the coast had dozens of MHs over Christmas & New Year.
Not much sign of EV MHs yet…
Maybe not "whacking great" but you certainly will get a 7m plus motorhome from a European manufacturer for £150k.
