Hi, We have an Elddis Odyssey 550 with the original awning for which I'm looking to buy flooring but I'm confused as to how to work out what size cm x cm to get, anybody know how to do this?
Looking at the internet it says that the awning size is 995 but doesn't say the length & width of the awning.
The standard depth for awnings is 250cm but you can get deeper ones. As for the length, you will need to measure the awning length once it is up. If it is a full awning, the length will be much the same as the caravan length but if it is a porch awning, it could be any length!
I have the same sized awning but bought my breathable carpet (a rubberised one with big holes so light can get through) a metre longer than the caravan and then cut it down when we first fitted it.
The breathable Isabella carpet restricts light and kill grass, but great for hard standing and almost as good as the aldi rubber mats.

I use interlocking black foam squares they are lovely underfoot and don’t kill the grass in not on hard standing
I can't see how they don't kill the grass, unless only down for a very short time, they block air and light totally, like a weed prevention membrane! Even 'Breathable' awning carpets which allow air and light through still 'yellow' the grass slightly after a few days use and leave a witness mark.

The interlocking squares have holes in them for grass to breath x on hard standing very soft to walk on
That makes sense, the foam tiles I used as flooring in my tent were solid. Certainly comfy underfoot, but even the woven awning carpets are pretty good.
