Find Fenwicks range works well, so stick with what I can rely on, see no point in gambling with an unknown and risk disappointment.
They work well enough that I'm not looking for anything better, there may be better out there, but IMHO it has to be a marginal improvement. Shop around and Fenwicks seems to be on a par cost wise with rivals, so no incentive there either!
Be interested to see if anything else strikes the cost-performance balance though.
I use Fenwicks and find it works great. Occasionally if the drain smells particularly bad, I throw a capful of zoflora into a sink of warm water and then let is flow down the drain. Between the two of these, it keeps things clean and fresh.
I tend to empty the wastemaster every other day especially in hot weather, partly as its pretty heavy when full!
Reduces any smells.
Before the van goes to bed for the winter I give it a good clean with warm water and bleach followed by flushing it with clean water.

Thanks for your reply and the link. I've mainly used Fenwicks since 2002, although occasionally I have used diluted bleach to clean the convoluted wastepipe and flushed the sink drain with hot water. I too have found the Fenwicks isn't doing the job for me as well as it used to so I'l give your recommendation a try.
